pour FF, je pense que marvel s'attendait au moins a des ventes au dessus de 100 000, mais en tout cas c'est bien mieux que les resultats precedents

et les New Exiles ont - 15 000 exemplaires

j'espère que cette série aussi sera annulée assez vite

Faut tuer tous les doublons X de Claremont et ramener Psylocke et Sage chez les X-Men !

Comme souvent le relaunch d'une serie en perte de vitesse sans changement artistique ne fait pas illusion tres longtemps et c'est ce qui se produit pour nos amis sans terre fixe.

surtout que perso je ne comprends pas la raison d'un relaunch de Exilés, la série en elle même peut se prêter au changement de composition ou de "mission" sans gros problème.

on essaye la plupart du temps de marquer une rupture avec la ligne artistique precedente mais la meme pas, on reprend les memes et on recommence, aucun interet si ce n'est de booster artificiellement les ventes en attirant les collectionneurs de numero 1 et de resortir moultes couvertures alternatives.

La chute continue pour marvel puisque seulement 3 titres sont au dessus des 90 000 exemplaires et seulement 2 au dessus de 100 000

On trouve en 1ere place la suite de dark tower (et c'est une surprise pour moi car je ne pensais pas que marvel reediterait la bonne performance de la precedente serie) comme quoi une serie ou le personnage n'a pas de masque et de cape ca plaint aussi au lectorat americain

En 2eme place, new avengers tient toujours bien son rang, la saga secret invasion risque de nous faire franchir un palier le mois prochain en terme de vente. Les 2 titres marvel faisant partie de l'infiltration (miss et captain) ne se portent pas trop mal avec plus de 40 000 exemplaires

En 3eme place, c'est le retour de thor (absent le mois dernier) pour son deuxieme arc story qui démarre sur une bonne base.

Derrière les ventes d'amazing spider man restent bonnes mais elles s'etiolent (8 000 exemplaires d'écart entre les 3 titres de ce mois ci), c'est toujours mieux que les 3 anciens titres reunis mais je ne suis toujours pas sur que le marché tiendra le coup aussi longtemps avant d'arriver à saturation.

En queue de peloton, she hulk et black panther ont toujours du soucis a se faire, pour the order la messe est dite et disparaitra avec le n°10 tandis que marvel comics presents ne devrait pas dépasser les 12 numeros avec ce genre de vente.

While the first series was mostly an adaptation of Stephen King’s novel WIZARD AND GLASS, the new series is original material. The first issue comes in below the final issue of GUNSLINGER BORN, but only just. Diminishing returns are to be expected with sequels, and besides, 124K for a debut issue is a good performance by any standards. Marvel should be very satisfied with this number.

Bizarrely, issue #31 suddenly picks up re-orders of 11,773 to chart at number 147, despite having come out last June. It’s the issue where Elektra turned out to be a Skrull. As usual, those numbers are added into the figures above.

For that matter, number 231 is another 5,437 copies of NEW AVENGERS: ILLUMINATI - SECRET HISTORY, which was a reprint of NEW AVENGERS: ILLUMINATI #1-2. Both books are SECRET INVASION tie-ins, so it’s possible that on the eve of the crossover, retailers have suddenly decided to re-order them.

But this isn’t the first time we’ve seen old comics suddenly show up on the charts out of nowhere. FALLEN SON: DEATH OF CAPTAIN AMERICA - IRON MAN still won’t go away, shipping a further 6,549 units in March, and bringing its total to 173,941. In the case of that book, the explanation is apparently that Marvel have been sending out surplus copies to retailers, evidently reasoning that it beats pulping them. The old NEW AVENGERS books may be in the same category.

Now, that said… this is the third month of “Brand New Day”, and AMAZING is still shedding around 7,000 a month. It’s levelling out a little, but I’d have preferred to see it a bit more stable by this point. Regular readers will recall that the magic number is roughly 63,400 - as long as they’re above that, they’re selling more Spider-Man comics per year than they were managing in the previous format.

16. CABLE
03/08 Cable #1 - 68,073Hmm. Interesting. After X-FORCE debuted at number one last month - which admittedly came as a surprise to me - I was expecting this to do a little better. After all, this book is more directly related to the core story of “Messiah Complex.” Still, considering that CABLE & DEADPOOL has been down in the 20K range for years, you can’t deny that they’ve done an effective job of drawing interest in the character.

Sans surprise, secret invasion a cassé la barraque, pratiquement tous les titres estanpillés avec ce label ont gané du lectorat

Le numéro 1 de secret invasion avec ses innombrables couvetures a gagné et de loin le pompom ce mois ci, ca s'annonce sous les meilleurs auspices pour marvel qui conforte la place de n°1 sur le marché du comics loin devant DC qui n'arrive plus a relever la tete

New avengers poursuit son bonhomme de chemin et cela depuis pas mal de mois, nul doute que les prochaines revelations risquent d'augmenter la valeur de certains anciens numeros voire d'anciennes series comme west coast avengers

Dark tower reste preserve sa 3eme place malgre le retour en trombe de mighty avengers qui risque de venir encore plus le titiller dans les mois qui viennent

En queue de peloton, c'est la berezina pour certains titres reguliers comme ghost rider, moon knight, marvel comics presents, new warriors ou she hulk heureusement pour ces 2 derniers le crossover tant attendu avec SI arrive enfin

Descente générale dans le classement de beaucoup de titre suite a l'arrivé de nombreuses séries(Secret Invasion,Young X-Men,Cable)
A noter que ceux qui achetent Miss Marvel achetent aussi généralement le comics Captain Marvel(comme le mois dernier)
Plus grosse montée:Mighty Avengers avecc +4(Secret Invasion)
Plus grosse descente:Wolverine First Class -20(tout le monde s'en fout de Dents-de-Sabres)

A noter que depuis BND, spider man a perdu 50 000 lecteurs en 4 mois soit 12 000 par mois force est de constater que le pari risque de ne pas durer une année entière

Oui mais que donne la comparaison avec la situation antérieure (amazing + sensationnal etc.).

Est-ce que 3 ou 4 amazing par mois ne font pas un volume de vente supérieur à l'ensemble des titres remplacés ?

L'année dernière friendly et sensationnal faisaient 50 000 et amazing dans les 100 000 soit 200 000 de moyenne

Ce mois ci, ils atteignent 241 000 contre 349 000 en debut d'année soit 100 000 ventes de moins en 4 mois

Le matelas est encore confortable mais pour combien de temps.
