The Widening Gyre est une maxi-série de 12 épisodes divisées en deux volumes de 6 épisodes avec 6 mois d'écart entre eux. Connaissant la rapidité de Kevin Smith on peut déjà parier sur les retards... De plus, Smith annonce que le nouveau héros introduit dans cette histoire aura droit en 2010 à une série bimestrielle qu'il écrira (sont prudents chez DC mais bon vu que c'est Smith je sais pas si l'écart de deux mois entre chaque épisode suffira...).
