Alors qu'Amy Reeder était censée dessiner Batwoman du numéro 6 jusqu'au 11, il semblerait que cet arrangement de longue date n'est pas fait long feu. En effet, à partir de Batwoman #9, c'est Trevor McCarthy qui reprendra en main le dessin de la série de J.H. Williams III.

Amy Reeder a invoqué des différents artistiques comme raison de son départ, soit la pire excuse que sort quelqu'un quand il est débarqué d'une série. McCarthy a déjà fait ses armes sur le Batverse, puisqu'il avait dessiné le Detective Comics Annual qui mettait en scène Nightrunner, le Batman français.
