Du Batman, encore du Batman ! Tout juste fini sa mini-série sur les personnages britanniques de "Knight & Squire", le scénariste Scott Snyder s'associe à Kyle Higgins pour en écrire une autre qui se consacre au passé de la célèbre ville Gotham City, "Batman: Gates Of Gotham".

La série sera dessinée par Trevor McCarthy et sera composée de 6 numéros, débutant en mai.

Quand un mystère aussi ancien que celui-ci de Gotham City fait surface, Batman rassemble une équipe de ses meilleurs détectives - dont Red Robin, Owlman, I-Ching et autres - pour enquêter sur cette nouvelle énigme. Alors que des indices sont découverts et que le mystère devient plus profond, l'équipe de Batman se retrouve prise dans un voyage qui explore plusieurs périodes dans l'histoire de Gotham et touche à plusieurs grandes familles de la ville telles que les Waynes, Kanes et Elliotts.
Cette mini-série découle des récents évènements qui se sont déroulés dans les titres Batman et prépare des intrigues excitantes pour 2011. En plus, cette série reprend des éléments introduits par Grant Morrison dans The Return Of Bruce Wayne.
