Je n'avais plus regardé les previews de ce titre depuis un moment, et je dois dire que les dessins instaure une très bonne ambiance qui sied à merveille à cette série ! Quelqu'un lit ? C'est comment depuis la relance au #200 ?

C'est assez bon, une ambiance lourde et pesante qui sied bien à l'ensemble. J'achèterai le premier tome de Spawn en cartonné VF en janvier, je te prêterai si tu veux.

Oui, des dessins qui filent une sacrée ambiance!

Je redécouvre le titre. Une chance pour janvier en VF. Ce sera avec CE dessinateur?

Oui, les débuts de ce nouveau dessinateur et du nouveau scénariste, qui y est associé depuis le #200.

Après un épisode #200 qui a mis énormément de temps à arriver, on a vu arriver sur Spawn un auteur totalement inconnu: Will Carlton.

Une fois la publication reprise, 15 numéros sont sortis en l'espace de seulement 1 ans. Carlton et Szymon Kudransky (Penguin: Pain & Prejudice) ont maintenant un rythme mensuel.

Sauf que nos copains de Comicsblog ont trouvé l'arnaque. En réalité, sous le pseudonyme de Will Carlton se trouve un Todd McFarlane désireux de prouver qu'il peut toujours écrire sur sa créature sans engranger de retard.
C'est un peu tordu et tout le monde se demande un peu pourquoi il a voulu se cacher.

Que pensez-vous de ce stratagème?

Un pari risqué mais qui semble réussir, je comprends tout-à-fait la démarche de McFarlane qui peut prouver ainsi qu'il n'est pas devenu qu'un simple designer pour statuettes.

Si les histoires tiennent la baraque, pourquoi pas ?
