Batman Inc. [Nouvelle série]

Grand soulagement général, tout le travail de Morrison ne part pas à la poubelle, par contre il faudra attendre l'année prochaine pour le retour de cette série qui durera douze numéros et clôturera le run du scénariste écossais sur le Chevalier Noir si l'on en croit ses dire ci-dessus.

Et dire que la série arrivait en France .

Cela devait tout de même en faire 24 à la base. Même en comptant une dizaine de numéro pour le premier volume, il ne rentre pas dans les clous. Mais en comptant les 2 sur l'arc amér-indien on y serait ^^

Retour du titre en décembre avec Batman Incorporated : Levianthan Strikes #1 ! On ignore par contre s'il s'agit là d'un one-shot de transition entre les deux volumes de la série ou bien le début du second volume (qui aurait alors ce nom-là).

Par contre, l'épisode 8 était clairement illisible.

mais ils ne trouvent pas qu'il y a déjà pléthore de titre consacré à ce super-héros ?

Ah oui, mais cette série-là est géniale. On pourrait aisément supprimer Batman : The Dark Knight à la place.

preview du one shot

Batman : Leviathan Strikes #1 : excellent. Deux parties bien différentes mais très bonnes. La première est plus claire, plus classique, avec un excellent Cameron Stewart et une bonne mise en avant de Stephanie Brown. Rien de réellement surprenant, mais de l'action bien menée et un Batman bad-ass adéquat. La deuxième, par contre, est beaucoup plus troublante, beaucoup plus fun et folle ; si j'ai été déçu de l'excuse pour briser le duo Dick/Damian, un peu faiblarde, je n'avais pas vu venir la révélation sur Leviathan et j'ai été clairement emballé. Dommage que Morrison et Nicieza ne se soient pas consultés sur l'identité de Batwing, mais c'est très accessoire. Burnham assure comme d'habitude, c'est un plaisir des yeux et Morrison m'amuse et m'intrigue.
A noter les excellentes pages de résumé, qui m'ont fait pousser des "aaaah" de compréhension (qui me manquaient). Vivement la suite.

En mai, DC lance l'opération Second Wave qui voit six séries lancées lors du New 52 être remplacées par six nouvelles. Le nouveau volume de Batman Inc. sera lancé à cette occasion, toujours avec Grant Morrison au scénario, épaulé de Chris Burnham pour la partie graphique. On ne sait pas encore si la série se passera dans l'univers des New 52, le one-shot Levithan Strikes sorti il y a peu se passant encore dans l'ancien univers pré-Flashpoint.

Ca devrait terminer le run de Morrison sur la franchise.
